TECHNOMELT PUR 270/7 G PUR Adhesive, 12 kg, HENKEL

TECHNOMELT PUR 270/7 G is a polyurethane (PUR)-based hot melt adhesive developed for edgebanding applications. It is also ideal for straight-line edgebanding and softforming processes in industrial woodworking.

The adhesive provides high initial bond strength, while its final chemical cure is achieved within a few days. Once fully cured, it forms sealed, water-resistant bond lines with outstanding heat resistance and excellent flexibility at low temperatures.

Recommended operating temperature:
Melting unit: 120–140°C
Application roller: 120–140°C
Heat resistance: >150°C
Tested with 0.6 mm oak veneer using the Henkel temperature increase test method.

Storage

Store in the original tightly sealed packaging in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life (unopened original packaging): 1 year.
Once opened, cut a small corner of the package. Reseal the remaining adhesive by folding the packaging and securing it tightly with a clip to prevent air and moisture from entering. It is recommended to use the opened package within 2–3 days.

Cleaning

Regularly flushing the system with TECHNOMELT PUR CLEANER 4, or using it before changing adhesives, effectively reduces adhesive residue build-up.
For cleaning application equipment, we recommend using TECHNOMELT PUR CLEANER ME or TECHNOMELT PUR CLEANER ALL-IN-1.
