    Ipe

    Ipe is a very popular species in many countries (especially France and Italy). Wood colour – light brown, sometimes with a greenish hue shifting into a dark chocolate brown shade. The seven-leaved balsam tree has a natural high resistance and strength.

    Origin: South America

    Use: Used for industrial buildings and decorative flooring, tool handles, furniture, interior and exterior joinery, port structures, and bridge construction. Colour: Light brown, sometimes with a greenish tinge to dark chocolate brown
